A common universal plug seal is a high-performance sealing component made of U-shaped PTFE with a special spring inside. By applying appropriate spring force and system fluid pressure, the sealing lip (surface) is pushed out and gently pressed against the sealed metal surface to produce an excellent sealing effect. The actuation effect of the spring can overcome slight eccentricity of the metal mating surface and wear of the sealing lip, while maintaining the expected sealing performance. PTFE is a sealing material with superior chemical resistance and good heat resistance compared to perfluororubber. It can be applied to the vast majority of chemical fluids, solvents, hydraulic oils, and lubricating oils. Its low swelling property allows it to maintain its sealing performance for a long time. Various special springs are used to overcome the elasticity problems of PTFE or other high-performance rubber plastics, and to develop a replacement for most seals used in static or dynamic (reciprocating or rotating) motion. The temperature range can be from minus 196 degrees Celsius to 300 ℃, and the pressure can range from vacuum to ultra-high pressure of 700kg, with a moving speed of up to 20m/s. The springs can be selected from stainless steel, Elgiloy Hastelloy, etc. according to different usage environments. Therefore, it can be applied to various high-temperature corrosive fluids. Pan plug seals can be made according to AS 568A standard O-ring grooves (such as radial shaft seals, piston seals, axial face seals, etc.), completely replacing universal O-rings. Due to the absence of swelling problems, they can maintain good sealing performance for a long time. For example, in the high-temperature corrosive environment of petrochemical processes, the most common cause of leakage for mechanical shaft seals is not only uneven wear of the sliding ring, but also the deterioration and damage of the O-ring. After using HiPerSeal, the problems of rubber softening, swelling, surface roughening, wear, etc. can be completely improved, thus greatly improving the service life of mechanical shaft seals. Pan plug sealing is suitable for both dynamic and static sealing applications. In addition to the sealing applications in high-temperature corrosive environments mentioned above, it is very suitable for sealing components in air oil pressure cylinders due to its low friction coefficient of the sealing lip, stable sealing contact pressure, high pressure resistance, and tolerance for large radial run out and groove size errors. It can replace U-shaped or V-shaped compression to achieve excellent sealing performance and service life. The characteristics of the pan plug seal are that its sealing performance is not affected by insufficient lubrication during start-up, effectively reducing wear and friction resistance. Through the combination of different sealing materials and springs, it can demonstrate different sealing forces to meet various application needs. It is made using a dedicated CNC machining mechanism, with no mold cost - especially suitable for a small number of diverse seals. Its chemical corrosion resistance and heat resistance are far superior to commonly used sealing rubber, with stable dimensions and no problems of sealing performance degradation caused by volume swelling or shrinkage. The structure is exquisite and can be installed on standard O The annular groove greatly improves the sealing ability and service life. The sealing groove can be filled with any anti pollution material (such as silicone) - but it is not suitable for radiation environments. The sealing material is Teflon, which is very clean and will not pollute the process. The friction coefficient is extremely low, and even in extremely low-speed applications, it is very smooth without any "hysteresis effect". The starting friction resistance is small, and even during long downtime or intermittent operation, it can maintain low starting power performance.
